| Crop is only just emerging and shows as pale green plants in rows around
80cm apart.
The two dark fields on the left of the airborne image are maize and the centre field is a set aside field with very deep wheel marks that are only just visible. For a larger image of this go to the rogues gallery. The field surface will be firm and smooth. Will grow rapidly over the next few weeks to a height of around 2 metres by the end of September. |
